The Museo del Novecento is enriched with 26 new works on loan from the Gianni Mattioli Collection, the most important private collection of Futurist art in the world. An increase of exceptional quality and value with paintings by Boccioni, such as the masterpiece “Materia” from 1912 (pictured, detail), by Balla, Carrà and Severini that complete a renewed and unique journey through Futurism, adding to the pieces from the Jucker and Canavese collections. Together with works by Sironi, Modigliani and Morandi that can be admired in various rooms of the museum. Chosen because It is a reorganization that makes the Galleria del Futurismo even more complete and expands the museum collections with masterpieces of the 20th century.
